54 projects submitted to the Resident Companies Program (6 selected) and 37 to Creation Spaces 2026 (30 authorized). More time, spaces, and support to help contemporary creation grow from Salt.
“Primera Residència”: El Canal opens its doors to 643 students from Salt.
This term, 643 students from Salt discover El Canal’s hidden spaces and create object theatre with Sonia Gardés and Irina, a puppet designed for the activity. A free initiative to experience theatre from the inside and learn about stage professions.
El Canal expands its partnership network with four new creation centres
In 2025, El Canal has signed four new agreements with creation centres both at home and abroad: La Grainerie (Balma, France), Convent de les Arts d’Alcover, C.IN.E. in Sineu (Mallorca), and Roca Umbert – Fàbrica de les Arts (Granollers).
