El Canal’s philosophy is based on networking. For this reason, the center establishes specific collaborations with other entities, organizations and associations in the territory in order to create synergies within the Girona and Catalan performing arts collective. The aim is to make El Canal an intersection and meeting point between various methodologies, perspectives, knowledge and capacities within the local performing arts world in order to add up and build a community network that feeds back.
The exchange of ideas and collaborative work is what drives El Canal to make occasional collaborations with training schools, festivals or charity events organizations, among others. The working attitude that El Canal defends is bidirectional and open to dialogue with its environment and the other organizations linked to the performing arts. For this reason, the resources available to El Canal are available to those entities that need a space and an infrastructure under which to host their project.
