La Côte Folle
In 2022, Maria Paz brings together four French, Catalan and Chilean circus artists, Jesu, Africa, Júlia and Maya, to create the company La côte folle. The collective is created, on the one hand, with the desire to create a creation of portios and dance, and, on the other, because of the desire to share collective ethics and the questioning of how to do circus.

The collective La côte folle proposes, through portés and dance, a scenic narrative about memory, forgetting, old age, dementia and the passage of time, inspired by anecdotes and real testimonies.
A street proposal for all audiences. A hybrid of dance and circus that blurs the boundaries between collective acrobatics and bodily expression.
A journey between the memories of a brain in ruins, between sensitivity and humor.
