Finestres
Residency April 2024
As if it were a ritual or ceremony, the artist will turn the room upside down to capture a signal. A sign that connects us and takes us to a new place, to a new situation. The performer is sure that like him, at this very moment, there is someone trying to stick their head out of the window for fresh air, waiting, looking for an answer.
In an absurd and clownish universe, Finestres tells us about the relationship between the human interior and exterior, and how we break these limits. It is an intimate proposal in the public space, a journey through the body and the manipulation of objects where we will feel challenged both individually and collectively.
The company makes this last creative residency at El Canal before the premiere of the show. The intention is to make a work with an external view and an open essay with the public in order to obtain feedback.
