FESTIVAL Z | Assembly with L’Última Merda Col·lectiu

Synopsis:

We often define performing arts as performing arts, but are we all represented? Do you think that your reality is present on the stage, or does the sector give you back an uncomfortable mirror where you don’t see yourself reflected? Who is present in the spaces of representation? Who represents us? Does anyone do it? If no one does, do we have to (re)introduce ourselves? What are the languages that identify us, that challenge us, and which ones do not? How do we want to build or perform our presence in representation spaces? What does it represent that we have to do, to have our place in The Conversation™? And how do we do it together? Setting up meme barricades, establishing common codes and protocols, breaking into equipment with a reflexive kick… Can you think of more ways?

BIO:

L’Última Merda we are four young people wandering through this endogamous, vitiated, precarious and hallucinating world of the performing arts. As an answer to the maxim of “don’t think, act!”, so common in the theater world, we believe that acting is the best way to think, and that listening is the best tool to build horizontally, col· educational and inclusive the future we want for the sector.
