With the firm and tireless will to project the local circus, the human team of the Col·lectiu de Professionals de Circ de Girona and El Canal de Salt together with other entities, continue to work to dignify, position and make the circus a base culture. As a result of this work, the sixth edition of La Gala arrives, which will take place next Sunday, March 17 at the El Canal Performing Arts Center.
Unlike last year, this year’s date is different from the Girona Districts Circle Meeting, also promoted by the group and which will take place on April 6 in Girona’s Central Park.
The Circus Gala was born and has established itself as an unmissable event for circus lovers where the local circus linked to the territory is made visible, and where the diversity and richness of this in terms of disciplines, poetics and languages is claimed.
The attendees of this year’s edition will be able to enjoy the performances of the artists Alexandre Duran, Maria Cavagnero, Juan Carlos Panduro, Lula y Gastón, Cristobal Bascur, Maria Rosa and the Fèmut Company who will delight us with disciplines as diverse as: mast, Cyr wheel, verticals, straps, juggling, clown and hand to hand.
All this animated by the company Seon, which will be in charge of driving and beautifying the two planned passages of the show.
