This Thursday, May 21, El Canal received an institutional visit from Mr. Xavier Fina i Ribó, Director General of Cultural Promotion and Libraries of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The meeting aimed to learn more about the center’s operations, visit the facilities and delve deeper into the management model and the projects currently being developed there.
During the visit, Fina highlighted El Canal’s commitment to contemporary creation and community culture, highlighting its national dimension within the Catalan cultural system. In his words, “El Canal is one of the important pieces for articulating the country’s creative system”.
At El Canal, we highly value this visit and celebrate being able to share our challenges and lines of work with the institutional leaders of the sector, with the aim of continuing to strengthen the center’s role as a key space for scenic creation in Catalonia.
