As every year, El Canal is one of the venues where the Temporada Alta Festival is held.
In this edition, we will host a total of ten Festival shows starting today, October 11, with Jessica and Me by Cristiana Morganti. This show will be followed by La Materia. De la leona a la invencible by Olga Pericet and Daniel Abreu, Ana contra la muerte by Gabriel Calderón, a powerful story and a theater lesson with the power of three great actresses of the Uruguayan theater and the director of the play Història d’un senglar.
On October 28, we will see Qui a tué mon père by Édouard Louis, a production directed by Thomas Ostermeier, and on November 4 we will host Mariano Pensotti with La obra, a documentary theater piece.
Double Infinite. The Bluebird Call by Mal Pelo, a co-production of El Canal, will also be showing in our facilities during the festival. It is an intimate duet, a sensitive journey through the doubts about how life is built. The company is one of the companies that has made a residency with us and that is why, after the exhibition, we organize a post-function discussion with the artists.
Finally, we will also host Cristo está en Tinder by Rodrigo García, De Nao Albet and Marcel Borràs, De l’amistat by the Las Huecas Collective and Sísif fa no fa by Jordi Oriol.
