Malsai Productions
Malsai Productions is an emerging performance company that explores a hybrid stage language between text and live sound space, bringing words and music into dialogue and, this year, opening up to new tools and universes.
The audience becomes an element that shapes the stage space, turns into an accomplice to the action and takes part in a shared present. The pieces Anomalía y Excepción (2022), a short monologue adaptation; Un, ningú i cent mil (2023) and Calla, Judit, calla (2024) make up its calling card, both in theatre venues and in non-conventional spaces, where the team distils from its own process what is most essential, delicate and human in order to offer it to the audience.
Malsai Productions is formed by Maria Cambil de Tena, Clàudia Ferrer Carreras, Carles Vidal Ramos and Laura Pujol Rabasseda, always in dialogue with other collaborating artists.

Residency March, April, May and September 2026
Maria Cambil develops the very first idea for the fourth project, La novena, a piece about origins and family legacy which, from the standpoint of autofiction, asks: “Can you be an orphan of the past?”
The creator steps into the skin of a mother who must explain to her daughter where she comes from; this narrative opens up an exploration of roots, acceptance and the realities that precede existence.
By blending autofiction, fiction and fantasy, the aim is to create a story for all creatures who are orphans of history.
