Residence January 2025

“I am a woman with almost no eggs. I tell myself that and I remain the same. Lost. I lack references. And here I am. Today, I woke up wanting to play and chat about what I know, about my life. Which resonates with the lives of many. Today, I want to wash my panties and put them to dry in the sun, so that they air out. As if I won’t walk my last eggs? How will I make the path to enter this new stage? Like someone entering the sea.”

Altarpiece of a Woman Without Eggs is a documentary and interdisciplinary play that is created both for theaters and for unconventional spaces.

A sequence of scenes, which together, open up our perception of this period of life. Giving visibility (and voice) to this process of bodies that are ceasing to menstruate, the climacteric.
