Inestable

Residency February 2026

INESTABLE explores identity from a social perspective: an identity imposed by established canons that pushes individuals to resemble others, to group together and to conform to the norm. The piece contrasts who we are with the public mask —our image in the virtual world— and works through this tension in both deep and superficial registers.

The focus is on the clash between social media and everyday reality: superficial positivity (selfies, “spontaneous” smiles, repeated paradises) and addiction to “likes” conceal fragilities. In contrast, the work champions a raw, imperfect and tangible reality, where the body becomes a vehicle for sincerity: its vulnerability reveals an essential truth that strips away the surface of the virtual.

Technical residency at El Canal
During the residency, the company will carry out the first fully staged run-through of the set, sound, lighting and video design. The showing will feature scenes with dancers and performers in which these languages play a key aesthetic and dramaturgical role within the piece.

Premiere
INESTABLE will premiere on 6 March 2026 at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya.
