La Segona Millor
Ester Villamor, director and playwright, Berta Giraut, actress and playwright, and Alfonso Ferri, video scenographer, have been working together since 2020 on the creation of the show “La Segona Millor” (Odisseu 2021 Grant), from which the company’s name emerges.
Actor Albert Ausellé joins them in this new project, starring in the monologue “My Brother, Bernard.

“I’ve been holding my breath for too long. Je ne veux pas respirer.
I come to perform an exorcism, a tribute, a step. To close the parenthesis that death has opened. I’ve been here too long, with the corpse. I’m running out of time to travel from death to life. And I’ve grabbed a buoy that can disorient you. I want to tell you about Bernard-Marie Koltès, the French playwright. While my brother was rapidly becoming ill, to be strong for him, I sheltered myself in a book: Lettres. François, Bernard’s brother, collected letters that the playwright had written to relatives and friends. “
“My brother, Bernard” is a multidisciplinary poetic tribute to Koltès, a song of love to mothers, to brotherhood and friendship, to the defense of freedom and human rights. It is the story of a brother who lost another brother based on the reconstruction of an incomplete story with fragments found here and there.
