La Portera
With Quan siguis gran i jo sigui velleta, Laia Borràs Hervàs and Pau Senserrich Primé launch this new project under the name La Portera.
It is a multidisciplinary artistic project, a space to explore, create and share ideas through different forms of expression, where collaboration and the exchange of languages become the starting point for developing new creative proposals.
La Portera is a collective, a company, a space where art becomes a meeting point and a form of expression, grounded in music, sound, craft and theatre.

How is music passed down from generation to generation? How does the way we show affection change over time?
Quan siguis gran i jo sigui velleta is an artistic exploration of care.
The piece takes us on a journey through time, observing how the surroundings of a home are transformed and, with them, gestures of affection. Which songs have reached us? Will we sing the same ones to those who come after us?
Quan siguis gran i jo sigui velleta is one of the verses of a lullaby that might have been sung to us.
This project investigates the meaning of care through visual arts, sound and collective memory. It searches for new sound textures using experimental ceramic instruments as a basis for recovering and singing traditional songs and lullabies.
Ceramic is a fragile material that speaks to us of tradition and care. The cradle speaks of songs and family. Water speaks of life. What new sounds will accompany us on this journey?
