At the end of 2019, Pablo Macho Otero, Emma Arquillué and Yaiza Ares decided to come together to found the company with the aim of dealing with complex issues in an entertaining way.
The first is Enterrando a Dodot, a dystopia of the absurd straddling Beckettian theater and the Black Mirror universe that premiered at Teatre La Gleva in Barcelona in January 2021, after having been part of the Samuel Beckett Cycle of the SalaBeckett in the form of a dramatized reading at the end of 2019. At the end of 2021, it premiered at Sala Tarambana in Madrid and had a second season in Barcelona at Teatre Tantarantana. At the beginning of 2022 he won the Premio D’Ensayo de Teatro yCiencia of the Zaragoza City Council.
The second project is Loco Amoris, an autofiction about a Paris-Barcelona long-distance relationship that reflects on the fictional dimension of love. It premiered in May 2021 at the Teatre Tantarantana, where it had a second season in the fall of Then, it premiered at the Teatro Lara in Madrid in the fall of 2022 and was part of the Temporada Alta Festival in Girona, of the XX Circuit of the Alternative Teatros Network, the Balañá Group’s Insomnia Festival and the Temporada Alta Festival in Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Lima. After a tour of Catalonia, he has returned to Barcelona for a season at Sala Versus Glòries in the fall of 2023.
The third show is George Kaplan by Frédéric Sonntag, premiered in March 2023 at the Tantarantana Theatre. The project consisted of a new translation and version of the text which, since its French premiere in 2011, has gone around the world and has become a kind of “contemporary classic” about the use of fiction as a weapon mass manipulation.
A Fuego is the company’s fourth project premiering in June 2023 at Teatre LaGleva. It is a monologue entirely in verse, full of satire, puns and theatricality, where we see how the protagonist’s fascination with the historical figure of Herostratus gradually turns into an obsession, until he commits a crime to match of his infamous idol. During this season, 2023-2024, the show has been part of the Temporada Alta Festival in Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Lima, the Festival dFeria de Sant Sebastian and in June it will return to Barcelona at the Off de LaVillarroel.

Prosopopeya
Residency July and November 2024
Prosopopeia is a new myth, an epic in verse that reflects on the fictional essence of existence, allegorizing the origin of theatre.
A myth about the birth of the person (the ‘mask’) that narrates the story of Prósopo de Thea, the one with the mirror face, the first actor in the story.
A show that mixes ancestral forms of theater such as rhyme, music or the mask with new currents of thought about the ego and the performativity of existence.
