Shì musical group

Residency March 2022

The musical group Shì took up residence in El Canal thanks to the Direct Production Grant of the program to support the creation of the Casa de la Música del Gironès.

Shì is a trio that works from experimentation with instruments, voices and images, transporting the viewer to a universe of colors, captivating melodies and eclectic loops. The group was recently created and born in Girona and is made up of Anna Fauré, Núria Mancebo and Anna Fusté, three versatile creatives who offer a show that combines electronic music played with visuals also performed live. The show premiered at the Inund’Art Festival and, since then, it has been staged on several occasions.

With this grant and the stay at El Canal, the Shì project did the work of reviewing and perfecting its show to improve the quality of its live sound and the musical production of the themes that make it up. Its visit to El Canal had the aim of setting up the show based on all the elements reviewed with the whole company and being able to perform a behind-closed-doors session to record it on video and thus be reviewed to make the relevant corrections.
