Man mano, il tempo scorre

Residency September 2024

What makes a lunch a time of rest and pleasure? How can a daily experience be a transformative experience? How is memory and cultural heritage uncovered? Share a family recipe, cook it, eat it and keep sharing.

Following Elaine Grayling’s Italian roots on her mother’s side, the material to be experienced is the gnocchi dough. A traditional fresh Italian pasta. Return to past times from a radical present. Inhabit the time that opens up from the collective fact of being together.

The project is a hybrid stage show and performance. From the theater to the kitchen, through dance disciplines, video projection, live music. The active participation of the public is especially encouraged.
