Circus company “eia”
The Circus Company “eia” began its journey in May 2009, from the union of several artists: Armando Rabanera, Fabrizio Giannini and Cristiano Della Monica (Cirque Vague, Circo de la Sombra and Le Grand Osim Orchestra) and Francesca Lissia and Celso Pereira (Celso y Frana). Today, they maintain the same enthusiasm and the same motivation that brought them together: to create a circus that places the importance of human relationships at its center.
During this time, they have created six shows (CAPAS (2011-2015), inTarsi (2016-2021), Espera (2017-in distribution), La Pranza! (2018), NUYE (2021-in distribution) and La Piedra de Madera (2023-in distribution), which have been seen in 25 countries in more than 800 performances. Through this experience they have created a large family, a collective that grows and evolves thanks to new friendships and new collaborations.
At the same time, they have opened new artistic and professional horizons, focused on the transmission and exchange of knowledge, dedicating themselves to accompanying emerging companies and artists, and directing shows.
In their shows and projects they are committed to a human circus, which explores and highlights the complexity of human relationships, defending a free culture that makes us evolve as a community.
“At a time when difference alone be a problem, we are committed to making our particularities emerge in our shows and enrich the collective work, providing the color and variety that the world deserves.”
The “eia” Circus Company has been awarded:
Ciutat de Barcelona Award 2011, “for the risk taken in circus research and innovation”.
Zirkolika Award 2012 in the category Best Indoor Circus Show (CAPAS)
MAX Award 2017 in the category Best New Show (inTarsi)
Critics Award 2017 in the category Best Street Show (Espera)

What would we ask of our last shooting star?
“Secrets” by the Circus Company “eia” is a poetic and acrobatic exploration of the passage of time and the transformations it causes. With five acrobats on stage, the show gives voice to what we often hide, making visible what is intimate and universal at the same time. True to its style, “eia” proposes a human circus that celebrates relationships and diversity, transforming our peculiarities into a collective wealth. A visual and emotional reflection on what we would ask of our last shooting star.
*Expected premiere: spring/summer 2026.
