ERAM

El Canal collaborates with the University School of the Arts (ERAM) to help promote the professionalization of the performing arts and audiovisual sector in the Girona area from the first professional stages. Also, with the aim of creating synergies with the sector, El Canal has made its spaces available to students and future professionals to carry out teaching activities, stage pieces from final degree projects or internships. All the activity of the center that has been carried out during the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 academic year has been recorded by the students of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia through an internship agreement to promote learning audiovisual in the performing arts sector.

The ERAM University School was born in 1998 thanks to the Joan Bosch Foundation, a non-profit organization with the aim of being a benchmark in higher education in the field of the Arts. To make this possible in 2001, ERAM linked up with the University of Girona (UdG) to offer official studies. Currently, ERAM’s educational offer consists of three university degrees: the Official Degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication, the Official Degree in Performing Arts – Interpretation, which was born in 2014 becoming the first university degree in Catalonia dedicated to the performing arts, and the Bachelor Degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia Communication, the only degree 100% in English in the state. Finally, in the near future the Degree in Fashion will be incorporated. With the four official university degrees, ERAM becomes the University School of the Arts of Girona with the aim of being a top-level artistic and creative center in the state.
