Open rehearsal of ‘Nauta’ de Cor de teatre

After 25 years of intense work, Cor de Teatre now proposes a new show of its own creation to stop and observe. A production where the banyolina company faces heartbreaking current issues to share them with the public. Always with the complicity of music, the performing arts and with large doses of humor and irony. Now for the first time, also incorporating the visual arts. A sincere architectural spectacle, in which every note, every gesture, every image invites reflection.

A new production for all audiences and multidisciplinary. With the fusion of Franc Aleu’s video creations and the original sound space and the instrumental reinterpretation of Dani López, in dialogue with musical gems by Monteverdi, Purcell, Rameau, Handel, Haydn, Scarlatti, Mozart, Grieg, Mahler and Leontovych, performed live by the voices of Cor de Teatre, musically directed by David Costa and with the stage movement and choreography by Leo Castro.

Nauta, a young girl, embarks on a mental journey through her memories. She discovers that she is pregnant and reflects on the present and immediate future. In a technological, hyperconnected world, full of social conflicts and with exaggerated consumerist degradation, its inhabitants are more disconnected than ever. A mediocre world, of deception, full of contradictions that increase exclusion and inequality. Nauta is essential for a more hopeful change.

A spectacular sound, visual and scenic journey of rabid modernity to activate all the senses.
