Open rehearsal of ‘Hospital de Campo’ by Sociedad Doctor Alonso

Hospital de Campo comes from the feeling, private and shared, that we are all sick.

When we ask ourselves about the nature of the evils we carry, which appear both in our bodies and in our psyches, a kind of common feature is drawn. We could define this as the abandonment of the subjective dimension of our bodily existence.

In this residence-laboratory, the company works around the key dramaturgical axes of the process: the idea of the bad, the idea of splitting and the relationship between the patient and the healer. All this, with the idea of generating “new performances” to treat our ailments.
