FESTIVAL Z | Circle of debate and reflection II

Synopsis:

The starting point of this second Circle of Debate and Reflection is the scenic creation from an LGTBIQ+ perspective. To do this, we invite people from the group to articulate their stage discourse from this identity.

We will reflect on how we are represented and represented in fiction; on whether the LGTBIQ+ perspective transforms and modifies other dimensions of creative processes such as rhythms, work dynamics or interpersonal relationships and on other issues such as: does an lgtbiq+ creation exist? Should it exist? What differences do we find within the group? Why would we want (or not) or should (or not) LGTBIQ+ stage creators generate content from here?

In addition, this debate circle will have the participation of orchestra conductor, musicologist and tarot artist Lluís Soler. With their presence, through the reading of the tarot cards, we want to activate the conversation from new and unexpected places.

Speakers:

Laura Villa Kremer. Intersex activist and performing arts professional within the Collective that does not leave here.

With this group, in 2019 they premiered the piece Que no salga de aquí and last 2022 they did it with Hermafrodites a cavall o la rebel·lió del desig (Critic’s Award Noves Tendèncias 2022, Max Award for Best Authorship and Award Max for Best Actress). The two pieces born from the desire to create new representations around intersexuality.

Manoly Rubio. Professional in the technical sector of the performing arts from an artistic side.

He designs, programs and builds what he calls lighting scenography from video projections, conventional lighting, custom LED circuitry or stage construction. Since 2019, he has developed various scenographies and lighting and scenic designs. Recently, she has been awarded the Critics’ Award for Best Lighting for the piece Una imagen interior (El Conde de Torrefiel, 2023).

Fran Puche. Graduated in Performing Arts from the ERAM University School (UdG).

Currently, he works as a theater teacher at El Galliner Theater Training Center. In 2022 he writes and performs his first play Mujeres de paja. Lately, with the Cia. Didascàlia Teatre has participated as assistant director in the play Despertar and as co-director in the play Obra completa.
