Conference on contextual practices / Festival “Això al poble no li agradarà”

Within the framework of the Girona region’s live arts festival, nyamnyam – a resident company at Canal this 2025 – proposes a space around contextual artistic practices from different approaches (creation, programming, curation, mediation, academia, etc.). Based on the intersection between contemporary artistic practice and context, a work area is drawn that displays social, political, human and non-human, rhythmic, atmospheric or architectural dimensions. A space for reflection that invites us to end the day with a popular lunch, continue in the afternoon to Lloret and the next day to Celrà to live the festival experience.

Attendance at the day includes lunch at the Ateneu Popular de Salt. Transport will also be organised to continue to Lloret with the programming of the ‘Això al poble no li agradarà’ Festival.

A private transport management service is available via Telegram for Friday 30 May (MOBILITAT AIXÒ 2025) to go from Salt to Lloret.

After lunch, there will be a coffee with L’Inevitable at the Ateneu, just before leaving for Lloret to continue with the afternoon programming.
