‘Carena’ Open Rehearsal by La Corcoles

Right after the Family Circus Workshop, La Corcoles will offer us a sneak peak of its circus show still in the process of creation Carena, a co-production of El Canal and the piece with which it resides and which is still in the creation phase .

Carena is the company’s second solo piece in the cable balance specialty. It is a work that is part of the discipline of tightrope walking, that is to say, work at height and with the element of the balancier. The creator is in the process of researching choreographic writing and the technicalization of technical movements on the cable, with more specific and more virtuosic figures.

La Corcoles brings the discipline of the circus to dance and from it enhances the manipulation of the present and much needed object, giving it its own life. In this open rehearsal, the public will find an installation at a lower height than it will be in the final piece, in order to minimize the risk before the execution of the movements is safe. La Corcoles will offer part of the research work on the manipulation of the element of the pendulum on the ground, which is the bet and stamp of the artist.
